In this picture book you will meet Emma, Zöe and Max. One day they see an accident caused by a young cyclist, Nick. Why did it happen? Did he not know how to ride a bike well? Was he careless or too brave? Did he ignore the traffic sings? Why does his head ring with pain when he crashes into a house? Was he perhaps cycling without a helmet? How to prepare for the bicycle permit test and why is it a good idea to read the book on raod traffic rules?
All these questions will be answered by the real-life story and illustrations in this picture book – but that’s only the beginning of our yourney together through the book, as reading is always followed by a discussion about what you’ve read. So talk about the dangers of traffic and think about what Emma’s thought “I have to do my best to succeed” means in our lives.
